We all have dreams, goals, intentions, and states of being that we consciously yearn to achieve, and yet the conscious mind represents only around 5% of our total power and processing potential!
Unless we also harness the remaining 95% of our energy as we set out – that is, the power of the subconscious mind— any progress we make in the direction of our dreams will feel effortful and ultimately temporary, because it will be dependent upon willpower rather than on automatic habit.
PSYCH-K® techniques elegantly help to realign the conscious and subconscious minds as well as the left and right hemispheres of the brain to re-establish inner congruence, alignment, and agreement. This state of effortless, integrated being is called a ‘whole-brained’ state and enables us to easily release stress, neutralize resistance and inner conflicts, and hold space in our nervous systems for what we want rather than what we don’t want moving forward.
Virtual PSYCH-K® sessions are offered over Zoom for your convenience. In-person PSYCH-K® sessions have been temporarily suspended due to the ongoing pandemic (and because I live with someone who is a member of a vulnerable population).
All PSYCH-K® sessions are approximately 60 minutes long and unfold intuitively based on whatever is coming up for you to be processed at that time. PSYCH-K® is done fully clothed while either standing up, sitting down, or laying on a bed, couch, or floor in your own space for virtual sessions. Please wear comfortable clothing for your appointment and log on to the session well-hydrated, too. Because PSYCH-K® is an experiential rather than an intellectual process, there is no need for you to take any notes and sessions are not recorded.
What Happens In A Session:
PSYCH-K® is short for ‘psychological kinesiology’ and is based on muscle testing. All sessions begin by establishing a connection to the subconscious mind via gentle and non-invasive muscle testing. For virtual sessions, I will enter surrogacy to muscle test on your behalf, though you will get to do any subsequent balances directly in your own space. When establishing surrogacy on your behalf, I will ensure that both of our subconscious and superconscious minds deem it safe and appropriate.
After a connection is established with the subconscious mind, we will talk about any topics, themes, issues, struggles, or changes you are experiencing at this time and that you wish to explore more deeply using PSYCH-K®. PSYCH-K® can be used to shift the experience of stress, to resolve inner conflicts, to set more aligned goals, to address and neutralize secondary gains or self-sabotage, to uncover any messages that a situation or condition is bringing you, and many other things. At every step of the way in a session, we will use muscle testing to confirm whether it is safe and appropriate to proceed. I operate from a trauma-informed lens and am committed to fostering a context within which it feels safe and possible for you to heal, shift, or grow.

The PSYCH-K® system comprises around a dozen different ‘balances’ (simple sequences of physical movements) that can facilitate both psychological shifts and lasting behavioural changes. In a PSYCH-K® session, the subconscious mind is given free license to select between these balances as a means to integrate more affirming beliefs and beneficial programs into the whole being. Although PSYCH-K® is a beautifully versatile modality and can address nearly any area where consciously held goals might conflict with the subconscious belief programs that are already in place, I am particularly drawn to facilitate sessions that touch on the following themes:

When you’re considering who to explore PSYCH-K® with in a professional session, I think it’s important for you to know that I consider myself to be a fairly atypical facilitator. Yes, I still use the designated balances in the ‘correct’ and intended ways, but I honestly don’t resonate with most of what’s available online about this modality at all (sssshh!). I ended up in the Basic Training class based on the synchronicity-laced suggestion of someone I trust rather than because I knew anything about PSYCH-K® itself, but I’ll be real with you here: Had I started off by researching this modality online or watching officially branded videos about it, I wouldn’t have actually pursued facilitator training because I would have felt rather turned off. (That said, I clearly found something of value in the method because I went on to get certified at the Advanced and Masters levels.)
I like to think that I came into PSYCH-K® through the ‘side door’ myself, so now I feel uniquely positioned and equipped to facilitate sessions with people who don’t necessarily resonate with the front-facing branding or marketing of this modality, either. I’m here for you and I totally get it. Before scheduling an appointment with me, I invite you to check in with yourself and to see how you’re feeling about me and my energy first. If it feels like a good fit to work with me in general, then please trust that, even if you’re having some reservations about the PSYCH-K® modality itself. Energy doesn’t lie. Conversely, if you’re just itching to try PSYCH-K® but don’t really resonate with me, then you’ll be much better off finding a different facilitator. I want you to have the best possible experience with PSYCH-K®, and that starts with having the sense of an aligned connection with your facilitator.
